This superfood, though often referred to as a grain, is actually a seed from a vegetable related to Swiss chard, spinach and beets. Combine 1 part quinoa with 2 part water in a pot
Bring mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat
Simmer mixture until all water is absorbed by quinoa
Once cooked, it is ready to eat on its own or use in your favourite quinoa recipes
